Penguin Random House LLC Customer Support and Analytics Representative - Amazon in Westminster, Maryland
Penguin Random House is seeking a dynamic self-motivated Customer Support and Analytics Representative to join our Amazon team in Westminster, Maryland. The regular working hours for this position are Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
Candidates must have a professional and natural communication style, have the aptitude to cross-train through a broad range of departmental functions, and be committed to providing exceptional customer service. Candidates must be comfortable working in a dynamic, results driven environment and embrace our high standard of professional ethics. Strong listening skills and technical skills to include EXCEL proficiency is essential. Skills assessment will be part of the consideration process.
Our support representatives serve as the first point of phone and email contact for our Amazon contacts, our sales representatives and other internal and external contacts answering inquiries relating to product and pricing, order tracking and problem resolution - for both physical and digital product. An individual that is detail-oriented, motivated by team success, and has effective time management skills will be successful.
We are seeking Candidates with:
• High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred but not required
• Prior customer service experience preferred
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; ability to multi-task, work independently & be a self-starter
• PC proficiency to include advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• SAP and MARC experience
• Professional written and oral communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
It is essential candidates possess the ability to develop both existing and newly acquired skills to advance within our Customer Support and Analytics Team along a defined developmental track.
