Random House Children's Books is seeking a subsidiary rights assistant to join their team.
This individual will support the domestic/foreign sales and licensing efforts of a busy department and work closely with licensees as well as other departments within the division.
Specific responsibilities include: 1) Preparing for major domestic rights presentations and international book fairs 2) Researching/answering Publisher and Agent inquiries 3) Working closely with other divisions within Random House Children's Books, as well as several corporate divisions 4) Working through specific administrative functions that help support the Subsidiary Rights team 5) Answering queries, maintaining the databases, handling mailings, scheduling meetings and managing specific projects.
Qualifications: -Strong interest in Children's Books and Subsidiary Rights -Strong attention to detail -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
