The Crawfordsville Distribution Center for Penguin Random House is currently seeking a skilled Electrical/Mechanical Technician to join our growing organization.
In this role, you will perform a combination of duties to construct, install, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and maintain plant equipment and facilities.
Proven skills relating to electrical construction with the ability to read schematics is essential.
Prior experience performing duties associated with Siemens or Allen Bradley Programmable Controllers or other relative PLC's is desirable but not required. Knowledge and experience and troubleshooting skills related to Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Mechanical systems are preferred.
Other trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry and welding will contribute to a well-rounded candidate.
Candidates must have three or more years relevant experience, possess basic PC skills and be physically capable of performing heavy lifting.
The availability to work overtime is essential.
The shift hours for this opportunity are Sunday - Thursday 11:00 pm - 7:00 am.
This shift also pays an additional 10% shift differential to boost your earnings.
